To apply:
twist up, apply to cleaned area 
OR
use a CLEANSED finger to scrap a small amount from tube. Apply gently to the nipple AFTER breastfeeding or pumping.
No need to wipe anything off afterward or before baby feeds again, it will absorb into the skin and it is safe to ingest.
